Two Teenagers Missing In Dolakha Pond |

CHARIKOT, Sept 27: Two persons have gone missing in an artificial pond built for extracting of stones in Lankuri Danda VDC of Dolakha on Thursday.
The missing have been identified as Roshan Shrestha, 16 and Kancha Shrestha, 13.
The duo had gone for swimming in the pond situated some 20 kilometers from the district headquarters.
The pond is said to be around 50 feet deep. According to assistant sub-inspector of police (ASI) Bir Bahadur Karki at the Kharidhunga police post, a police team along with locals has been searching for the missing.
A rescue team from the Nepal Army´s Charikot-based Barda Bahadur battalion under the command of Colonel Mahendra Maharjan has also reached the incident site. |
