NEPALGUNJ, Oct 14: Minister for Physical Planning, Works and Transport Management, Hridayesh Tripathy, has said that there would be no consensus in installment on disputed issues of constitution writing.
At a news conference organized by the Madhesi Journalists Society, here on Sunday, Minister Tripathy, said the government is ready to accept two alternatives- either the reinstatement of the Constituent Assembly (CA) or the election and added that agreement should be made in a package for the same.
He further said the government´s first priority is election but added the government is also ready to reinstating the CA.
Tripathy further said that the stance of the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML of demanding resignation of Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai without forging consensus is the obstacle for it now.
Tripathy, who is also the Vice-Chairman of the Tarai-Madhes Loktantrik Party, said Madhes movement has been weakened due to the split of the Madhes-based parties for power and position.
