Highway Opened Till 4 Pm After Dhading Clash |

DHADING, Oct 16: Irate locals of Naubise have allowed vehicles on the highway on condition that police arrest Maoist-aligned Young Communist League cadres, involved in a clash a day earlier, till 4 pm Tuesday.
The locals have also warned that they would shut the highway for an indefinite period if police fail to nab the absconding YLC cadres by then. Tension escalated in Naubise, Dhading after a clash, involving the YCL cadres, broke out in connection with a dispute during a football match on Monday.
The locals had enforced a highway shutdown this morning over the incident. Passenger buses from Kathmandu were in a queue as long as five kilometers due to the tension, leaving hundreds of people traveling to their districts for Dashain stranded on the road.
