Birendra Lake bursts after avalanche in Manaslu region, no casualties reported

KATHMANDU, April 21: Birendra Lake in the Manaslu region of Gorkha has burst due to an avalanche. The chief district officer of Gorkha, Bhola Dahal, informed Republica that the lake in Chumanubri Rural Municipality burst after a large avalanche fell onto it this morning.
