NOC maintains petrol, diesel prices citing gas deficit as reason for non-adjustment

KATHMANDU, Nov 21: Even though the price of diesel has decreased by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has not lowered its price. Despite a reduction of Rs 7 per liter for diesel and 80 paisa for petrol, NOC has justified its decision, citing a loss of Rs 280 per LPG cylinder.

KATHMANDU, Aug 20: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reinitiated the sale and distribution of petroleum products from its Birgunj branch. This strategic move has effectively eliminated the necessity for petroleum traders in Birgunj and its surrounding areas to journey to Amlekhgunj for diesel purchases. This transition has subsequently led to a reduction in consumer prices.
