KATHMANDU, Feb 1: Increasing flow of remittance has provided some respite to Nepal but the issue of out-bound migrant workers has become a matter of serious contemplation.

In the Nepali month of Ashoj (mid-September to mid-October) this year, the remittance inflow has set a new record, with a staggering Rs 136 billion received in remittances for that month alone. This marks the highest amount ever received in a single month.

KATHMANDU, August 17: Remittances inflow in the country increased 4.8 percent in Nepali rupee and 2.2 percent in US Dollar in the fiscal year 2078/079 BS, according to the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB).
