SURKHET, June 8: Mid-Western University has decided to award an honorary doctorate to litterateur Jhamak Kumari Ghimire. The university announced the decision on Tuesday at its fifth senate meeting presided over by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the chancellor of the university. "Mid-Western University's Senate meeting has decided to present an honorary doctorate to Ghimire," Vice-Chancellor Prof Upendra Kumar Koirala said. "The honorary PhD will be awarded to her at the university's first convocation to be held soon."
