KATHMANDU, April 22: The hunger strike launched by the families of the Nepalis who have joined the Russian Army has reached its fourth day today.

They started a mass hunger strike last Friday at Maitighar Mandala, Kathmandu.

On Thursday, they had held a protest demonstration, demanding their relatives who had joined the Russian army be brought back to their country.

These families continue to suffer as their loved ones remain stranded in the Russia-Ukraine war. They have been visiting government agencies from the Singha Durbar to the Consular Department, pleading daily with government officials for the safe return of their loved ones from Russia.
