Nepal faces Hong Kong today for ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup

KATHMANDU, April 20: Nepal is set to compete against Hong Kong today in a crucial match to secure a spot in the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup. The game is scheduled to kick off at 4:30 PM.

Following a defeat against UAE in the semi-final of the ACC Premier Cup in Oman, Nepal is now aiming to defeat Hong Kong and advance to the Emerging Teams Asia Cup.

Only the top three teams from the Premier Cup will qualify for the Emerging Teams Cup, making this match against Hong Kong pivotal for Nepal.

Meanwhile, the host nations Oman and UAE have already secured spots in the Emerging Teams Asia Cup by virtue of reaching the finals of the Premier Cup.

In the Emerging Teams Asia Cup, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan will field their A teams, setting the stage for a highly competitive tournament.
