Tucked in one of the smaller alleyways in Gairidhara is a cozy little eatery called Social Cafe. Going by their name, I had expected the cafe to have a clean and chic look with western inspired interior but I realized I had grossly misjudged the place by its name. Social Café is an amalgam of all things nice and it doesn’t stick to one theme or vibe.

In what he considers to be one of his finest moments, Saugat Rajbhandari handed over a two and half feet long 3D origami model of former Miss Nepal Shrinkhala Khatiwada that he had made to the lady herself. The model was completed in less than two months and took 8500 paper triangles to make. For two months, Saugat folded pieces of paper everyday for five to six hours.
