Import of EVs soared five-folds in Q1 of current FY

KATHMANDU, OCT 31: Nepal imported 705 units of electric vehicles (EVs) in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, almost five-folds of the number imported during the same period last year.

CAAN asks airlines to operate int'l chartered flights from GBIA

KATHMANDU, Oct 31: Now international chartered flights will take off and land at the newly-constructed Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) in Bhairahawa, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) decided. Earlier, all international chartered flights took place at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Gold price sees slight decrease

KATHMANDU, Oct 30: The price of gold has been declining steadily in the domestic market for the past few days.

KATHMANDU, OCT 29: As a part of its effort to ease the ongoing liquidity crisis with the bank and financial institutions (BFIs), Nepal Rastra Bank has expedited preparations to provide them with daily liquidity services.

BAGLUNG, Oct 29: The Baglung District Traffic Police Office has collected Rs.1.8 million in revenue from the penalty imposed against the drivers who violated traffic rules. The amount was collected in the three months of the current financial year.

NTA installing ICMS to improve surveillance system
