KATHMANDU, Sept 14: If you love to team your beer up with some good food and fantastic music, San Miguel Beer Festival is the place to be. The festival presented by Radio Nagarik 96.5 is scheduled to be held on September 16, Saturday at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu.

The festival will also feature games such as beer pong, freeze dance, flip the cup and lip sync battle, among others, whereas the food stalls will have BBQ, Newari food, varieties of mo:mos and sekuwas. 
San Miguel Beer Festival is inspired by Oktoberfest celebrated in Germany.

Oktoberfest is a world renowned beer festival held for a month and attracts people from all over the world. In the similar fashion, San Miguel Beer Festival is also an annual event organized just before the Dashain festival to welcome the festive season with good food, drinks and music.

Big Smiles and Pariwartan Band along with DJ Puchhey are scheduled to perform live at the event. The event will begin at 1 pm and continue till 8 pm. The tickets are priced Rs 250 and will be available at the door on the very day. Moreover, each participant will get a can of San Miguel beer for free.
