Three killed, 16 injured in Sindhupalchowk bus mishap

Three people were killed while 16 others sustained injuries as a bus met with an accident at Charghare of Sindhupalchowk district on Friday afternoon. The bus, Ba 2 Kha 4325 was en-route to Melamchi from Kathmandu when it skidded off the road and fell some 40 meters down the hill.

Six injured in Lahan bomb explosion

Six people were injured in a bomb blast at the Bikas Traders, gold shop, Lahan, today. The proprietor of the shop Bikas Saradaa said, “The bomb exploded after a rebel disguised as the customer left his bag in the shop.” An explosive charge went off in the crowd of the customers gathered for shopping.

Nepali soccer team leaving for Qatar to play Asian Cup Qualifier

The national football squad is leaving for Doha of Qatar to play the Group 'F' final match under the AFC Asian Cup Qualifier. The All Nepal Football Association bade farewell to the team amidst a programme on Friday. The team will play against Yemen at Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium of Doha on March 27.
