One trampled to death by elephant

RAJBIRAJ, Dec 25: Raghunath Khadka, 60, of Bhaluwatol was killed by a wild elephant at Bhaluwa in Bhardaha-9, Saptari.

A herd of elephants from the nearby Koshi tappu wildlife reserve reportedly chased Khadka and trampled him to death earlier today.

Elephant attack has become frequent in the past few days especially in Bhardaha, Portaha, Barmajhiya, Berawa, Kanchanpur, Ghoghanpur areas of the district. RSS
