MUMBAI, July 20: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has congratulated his wife, actress-MP Jaya Bachchan after she was named the Best Woman Parliamentarian of the Year (Rajya Sabha) today.

Actor Ronit Roy says he learnt a lot while working with Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Sarkar 3’, as the megastar is an extremely knowledgeable performer. The film features Bachchan reprising his role of Subhash Nagre in the third installment of Ram Gopal Varma’s political thriller.

Amitabh Bachchan, who is gearing up for the Global Citizen Festival India (GCFI), has urged everyone to support poverty eradication. The 74-year-old on Friday shared a photograph of himself shaking hands with the British band Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin.
