Special Court acquits corruption-accused

KATHMANDU, Jan 23: The Special Court on Monday acquitted 14 persons accused of corruption, including the managing director of National Residence Company, Krishna Dev Chaudhari who had been accused of registering public land in the names of various individuals.

KATHMANDU, Nov. 4: The Election Commission (EC) has scrapped candidacy of Nepali Congress leader Govinda Raj Joshi citing the candidate was already convicted by the Special Court and the corruption case against him is still under investigation at the apex court.
