KATHMAN DU, Aug 5: Several influential leaders of the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN) have stopped going to the party office expressing dissatisfaction over delays in resolving the long standing row over the party’s leadership.

ILAM, July 6: A few days before the second phase of local polls, Nepali Congress' (NC) Ilam district Secretary Khagendra Dewan claimed that his party would sweep all ten local units of the district. His prediction didn't materialize as the result was exactly the opposite of what they were expecting.

JHAPA, June 11: While both the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) and the main opposition CPN-UML have been claiming that they would win 10 out of 15 local units in Jhapa district, both the parties are in a situation where they have to be more wary of intra-party conflict rather than threats from their competitors.
