KATHMANDU, May 9:  The weather has remained partly to generally cloudy throughout the country while light rain is currently taking place at one or two places of the Koshi province.

KATHMANDU May 5: The weather remains cloudy in the hilly areas and clear in the remaining part of the country today. This is due to partial influence of westerly winds and local winds, says the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM).

KATHMANDU, April 19: Due to impacts of the westerly and local winds, the hilly region in the country including in Sudurpaschim is witnessing rain at present, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DoHM). The weather in the rest of the country is generally clear.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology the influence of local winds is currently affecting the weather patterns in Nepal.

KATHMANDU, March 15: Light snowfall is expected in various provinces over the next three days. The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has reported that Nepal is currently experiencing the influence of a westerly low-pressure system and local winds.

KATHMANDU, May 24: The country is presently experiencing a general influence of the Westerly low-pressure system and the local winds.

KATHMANDU May 15: Both westerly and local winds have an effect on the country’s weather now.
